The first week of May is a busy one for celebrations. Between May 6th and May 12th, the nation honors nurses with National Nurses’ Week. The weeklong celebration ends on National Nurses’ Day – on May 12th because that date coincides with the date on which the founder of modern nursing, Florence Nightingale, was born. Between May 7th and May 11th, we observe National Teacher Appreciation Week. National Teacher Day occurs on May 8th. One of the ways to show your appreciation and to express your gratitude to teachers and nurses who have had a significant impact on your life is with the gift of flowers. Boyd’s Flowers is proud to be part of these events because flowers are the ultimate gift with which to honor someone.
Our Happy Dots bouquet is a delightful design that oozes with springtime happiness. Its compact size makes it the ideal gift for a teacher or a nurse. They can place it on their desk or work area so that they are reminded of your kindness.

The Boyd’s Flowers team encourages you to honor an important nurse or teacher whose dedication and tireless efforts made a dramatic impact in your life, or are doing so in the lives of your children or other loved ones. We are always ready to help people choose or customize a flower design that reflects the sentiments they wish to share with their floral gift.
