It’s not every day that we take time to honor the people who sacrificed so much to protect and defend our country. But on Veterans Day, we devote ourselves to showing our gratitude. We want to do something special for the people, young and old, who served our country. And this year, we at Boyd’s Flowers have some ideas. Why not show your vet a great time and take them to the Hagley Museum and Library or the Delaware Art Museum? Both have free admission on November 11 for vets. Visit the Veterans Freedom Mural, and then attend one of many patriotic events.
And of course, send them this:
We’ve called this arrangement Fireworks for obvious reasons. A proud display of bold red roses and carnations and white daisies in a blue vase, this simple design is full of pride. Topped off with an American flag, these are Veterans Day flowers for all, suitable for a man or a woman.
Our heroes may be humble about their incredible efforts, so we like the idea of going with an approachable arrangement that is all about those patriotic colors. A straightforward, smaller-scale design will bring a smile to your favorite veteran’s face without overwhelming them. On a day that is both celebratory and poignant, as well as filled with ways to commemorate our military family, it’s nice to offer something that quietly says it all.
